Women! Join the maker/DIY movement! Be a part of a growing community of women that want to learn hands-on skills. No experience necessary (we really mean it). This group is a comfortable place where women can learn the basics and find others to collaborate with on projects. 

We have decided to start a shoe making group to share the art, craft, and experience of hand made leather shoes. The purpose of the group is to share shoe making traditions and to create hand made shoes. Those who want to create useful, beautiful shoes that help connect us to the earth, and tread lightly shall join.

We are a group of creative, intelligent, adventurous and off-beat parents who want to explore Los Angeles with our babies!  We love crafting, art, museums, nature, animals, and most of all, happy babies!  There is nothing better than watching our babies interact and learn about new things!  Our home base in in Beverlywood but we venture out all over.  There will be at least two meetups a week in different parts of the city.  We try to choose free activities most of the time but there will be the …
